  • Same-day payment via bank transfer or cash

2.2 Service Availability

Services are available in Sydney and surrounding areas. Appointments are subject to availability and must be scheduled in advance. We reserve the right to decline service requests at our discretion.

3. Valuations and Pricing

3.1 Valuation Process

All valuations are conducted in person by our licensed professionals. Valuations are based on:

  • Current market gold prices (updated daily)
  • Karat purity (9ct, 14ct, 18ct, 21ct, 22ct, 24ct)
  • Weight in grams
  • Condition and craftsmanship of items

3.2 Price Disclaimer

Important: Online estimates and instant calculators are indicative only and not binding offers. Final valuations are determined during in-person assessment. Gold prices fluctuate based on global markets and are subject to change. We typically offer 78-82% of spot market value, depending on item condition and purity.

3.3 No Obligation

Valuations are provided free of charge with no obligation to sell. You are under no pressure to accept our offer and may decline at any time before completing the transaction.

4. Appointments and Cancellations

4.1 Booking

Appointments can be booked through our website, phone, or WhatsApp. We will confirm your appointment via your preferred contact method.

4.2 Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule appointments at any time by contacting us. We request at least 2 hours' notice for cancellations. Repeated no-shows may result in a minimal call-out fee for future appointments.

5. Transactions and Payments

5.1 Payment Methods

We offer same-day payment via:

  • Instant bank transfer (preferred)
  • Cash payment on the spot (subject to amount limits)

5.2 Identification Requirements

As a licensed second-hand dealer, we are legally required to verify your identity before completing any transaction. You must provide valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, or proof of age card).

5.3 Record Keeping

We maintain detailed records of all transactions as required by NSW law. Transaction records are kept confidential and stored securely for the legally mandated period.

5.4 Final Sale

All sales are final. Once payment is completed and items are transferred, the transaction cannot be reversed. Please ensure you are certain before accepting our offer.

6. Your Responsibilities

By using our services, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You are the legal owner of all items presented for valuation
  • Items are not stolen, fraudulently obtained, or subject to any liens or encumbrances
  • You have the legal right to sell the items
  • All information provided to us is accurate and truthful

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to sell stolen or illegally obtained items
  • Provide false identification or fraudulent information
  • Misrepresent the origin, authenticity, or ownership of items
  • Use our services for money laundering or other illegal activities
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse our staff

Violation of these terms may result in termination of service, reporting to authorities, and legal action.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, Aurelia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid to you in the relevant transaction.

We are not responsible for fluctuations in gold market prices after a transaction is completed.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aurelia, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Aurelia and protected by Australian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

12. Changes to Terms
